Platinum #267: Slyde

Hey there!

1000 Top Rated is finally back in the store. Now, it’s called Slyde, looks a little bit different and is even easier than 1000 Top Rated. You can complete the game within 1 minute!

What is the game all about?
There isn’t much to say about Slyde, as it is a tile-slide puzzle. You can choose between various pictures and 3 difficulties (Easy, Medium and Hard). The higher the difficulty, the more tiles the picture will have. Your goal is to put the tiles into the right places within a given amount of time.

What about trophies?
In this game, you don’t have to worry about trophies at all. All you must do is to finish one puzzle on medium difficulty within a short amount of time. This will automatically unlock all trophies.
Simply follow the instructions shown in the below video by IBadDriverI and you will unlock the Platinum Trophy within one minute.

Where can I get this game?
Slyde is currently available in the EU PSN store only. I think it will also appear in the NA store soon, but I don’t believe that it will get an additional stack.
If you need PSN cards, you can buy them at play-asia.com or at scdkey.com. There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within minutes.

As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
Absolutely! It only costs 1.19€ and you shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes to finish this game.

Platinum #266: Claire (PS4)

Hey there!

Claire is another game I would have never touched if it wouldn’t have been free for PS+ members. But I will skip the Vita stack as this game really sucks.

What is the game all about?
Claire is a 2D horror survival similar to The Coma: Recut.
You take control over Claire, who visits her sick mother. After you return back home, you go to sleep and wake up in the middle of a nightmare. It’s your task to survive this madness and to do everything to wake up. During the game, you will encounter a dog, who will become your friend and will follow you through this nightmare.
Most of the time you’re only running from one room to another to proceed with the story. From time to time you will encounter other person, which you can save by fulfilling their tasks. You will also encounter creepy creatures, which will follow you. Every time you encounter such a creature, Claire’s panic level will raise and you’ll lose some health. Luckily, there are a lot of items you can use to replenish health.
The game is full of rooms and hard to see doors. Thus, it’s quite confusing and you can easily get lost. The only things I liked about this game are the awesome pixel art and the soundtrack, which fits perfectly to this game.

What about trophies?
There are only a few trophies but most of them are missable and annoying. Like finding all butterflies or picking-up over 80 items. There’s also a difficult related trophy for beating the game on the highest difficulty.
If you download the EU PS4 version (V1.04), you can unlock the Platinum Trophy very easily due to a glitch, in which you can change the difficulty from normal to nightmare near the end. This glitch has been patched in the NA PS4 version (V1.20), which forces you to play the whole game on nightmare.
This glitch doesn’t work on the Vita version of this game. Furthermore, there’s also a bug which forces you to pick up all collectibles on easy and then do another playthrough on nightmare, as there aren’t enough items on nightmare difficulty.
If you want to get this game done as quickly as possible, follow this video walkthrough by my buddy IBadDriverI. This video is made for the EU PS4 version. For all other versions, you can use this walkthrough from psnprofiles.com.

Where can I get this game?
Claire is available digitally in the EU and NA store. It’s cross-buy (PS4 + Vita) and each system has its own stack.
If you need PSN cards, you can buy them at play-asia.com or at scdkey.com. There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within minutes.
There are also physical versions from limitedrungames.com for PS4 and Vita, but these are sold out already. If you’re interested in them, you must try your luck on eBay.

As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
It’s worth to play the unpatched PS4 version but I wouldn’t go for the Vita version.

Platinum #263-265: Obduction (HK, NA & EU)

UPDATE (2018/17/07):
A JP version of this game is now available too. This post has been updated accordingly.

Hey there!

Obduction has everything you expect from an adventure – tricky puzzles and amazing graphics.

What is the game all about?
In Obduction, your adventure starts at night while walking beside a lake. A strange object falls from the sky and takes you with to a different and strange world.
In this world, you’ll meet a guy called. C.W. He will give you little information about the world you’ve been transported to and he will also give you a mission. Your goal is to water all 4 large trees in Obduction. Sounds easy, but those trees can only be visited after solving a lot of puzzles. And these puzzles can be very tricky. If you’ve ever played Myst, you know what I mean. This game is from the same developers as Myst.
The graphics in the game are awesome. There are some many details and sometimes you just want to stop and enjoy the beautiful landscape. The game also support VR and I think playing this game with a VR headset must be amazing. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the chance to play this game in VR.

What about trophies?
This game has only trophies (incl. Platinum) of which 8 are missable. There are 2 trophies related to endings but luckily, you don’t have to play the game twice to unlock both of them. If you save at the right place, you can unlock both endings in one playthrough.
If you want to know more, check out this guide from psnprofiles.com and / or follow this walkthrough from polygon.com. Or simply wait for the video walkthroughby my buddy IBadDriverI.
If you play the game for the first time, you will need 8-10 hours. On your second / third playthrough you should be able to complete the game in 3-4 hours.

Where can I get this game?
Obduction is only available digital in the EU, NA, HK and JP store. Each store has its own version with its own trophy list.
If you need PSN cards, you can buy them at play-asia.com or at scdkey.com. There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within minutes.

As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
Yes, but wait until the video walkthrough has been released and the game is on sale. Otherwise you’ll face an expensive, tricky and time consuming Platinum Trophy.
