Platinum #207: My Name is Mayo (Vita Version)

Hey there!

Finally, My Name is Mayo has been released in the EU PSN store, or at least in most of the European countries, and I could play this game on my PlayStation Vita.

What is the game all about?
For everyone who doesn’t know this infamous game, it’s considered as the easiest Platinum Trophy of all times by many players. There’s literally no story. All you must do is clicking a jar of mayo 10,000 times! Okay, sometimes you must switch the “outfit” of the jar but that’s it.

What about trophies?
As already mentioned above, all you must do is clicking at the mayo jar 10,000 times. At the beginning, you must switch “outfits” every 10-500 clicks to unlock trophies and proceed with the “story” but from 5,000 clicks onwards you just keep clicking. Reaching 10,000 clicks will be a relief for your thumb and reward you with a new Platinum Trophy. The whole game shouldn’t take you more than 30-60 minutes.
If you play the PS4 version, a turbo controller would be a great help. A turbo controller would preserve your thumb and would also speed-up the process a little bit.
In case you really need a guide, you could find one on psnprofiles.com and playstationtrophies.org.

Where can I get this game?
My Name is Mayo is already available in the NA PSN store for a while and has been released in most of the EU PSN stores recently. This means that everyone can play the PS4 versions but for the Vita version you need to have the game available the store of the account you want to play it with. If you don’t know how to set-up an account for a different region, check out this video by my buddy IBadDriverI. Everything is explained in detail. If you need Japanese PSN cards, you can buy them here. There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within minutes.

As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
I’d consider this game as a must have for each trophy hunter. It’s cheap, short and easy, and in the best case, you can get 2 Platinum Trophies. In case the game hasn’t been released in your region, you should at least buy the PS4 version from a PSN store in which it has been releases (NA, AT, UK…).

Yours,
