Hey there!
Beginning of this year I played Deponia
which I really enjoyed. Since than I was waiting for the sequel Chaos on
Deponia. It turned out that Chaos on Deponia is good, but not as
good as its prequel.
What is the game all about?
Chaos on Deponia is a point & click and follows up the story of Deponia. You
take again control of Rufus, who wants to leave Deponia and travel to Elysium. Unfortunately,
this doesn’t work as planned and you’re stuck on Deponia. Even worse, your
beloved Goal has now 3 personalities and you must unite them again.
If you’ve played the prequel, you will also
enjoy this game. It’s nearly as good as Deponia and you’ll meet some old
friends and foes again. If you haven’t played Deponia, you can also
enjoy Chaos on Deponia. Everything is explained and you might only miss
the one or the other insider joke.
What about trophies?
This game has a typical point & clock trophy
list. There are story-related trophies mixed with trophies for doing some
random things. This time you also must find 12 collectibles, which are related
to 2 different trophies. Thus, you need to work with a back-up save. The game
is really tricky at some points. Therefore, it might be smart to play this game
with this
walkthrough, which can be found on ps3imports.org. With this guide,
you will be able to get all trophies in one playthrough and you shouldn’t need
more than 3-4 hours. Alternatively, you can follow below video walkthrough by IBadDriverI.
Where can I get this game?
The easiest and cheapest way to get Chaos on
Deponia is to buy the digital versions which can be found in the EU and NA
store. These are 2 different versions which different trophy stacks.
If you don’t know how to set up an account in a different region, check out this video by my buddy IBadDriverI. If you need PSN cards, you can buy them here.
There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within
minutes.
You can also buy a physical version in every
game store but be aware, it’s more expensive. Furthermore, you won’t get the EU
version in a NA retail store and vice versa.
As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
If you like point & click, yes. But wait until the game is on sale
as 19.99€ / 19.99$ is overpriced in my opinion.
