Hey there!
RiME is for sure one of the most boring adventure
games I’ve ever played. In my opinion, this game is totally overrated.
What is the game all about?
As already mentioned, RiME is an adventure game. You take control over a
young boy, who wakes up ship-wrecked on a mysterious island. It’s your tasks to
find a way to get of this island. You’ll meet a fox, which will guide you the
way. But to proceed, you must solve a lot of puzzles. Some of them can be a bit
tricky but shouldn’t be too much of a challenge for an experienced adventure
gamer.
The story is very slow-paced and I found it very predictable if not to say,
very boring. Graphics are nice but could have been better. Controls and camera
movement are a little bit clunky, but this seems to be standard in adventure
games.
What about trophies?
There are a few story-based trophies but the rest are for picking up all
collectibles and doing some miscellaneous stuff. There are a lot of
collectibles and some of them are pretty hard to find. Therefore, it’s best to
follow a guide if you don’t want to spend a lot of time searching for them.
If you follow the walkthrough below, you should be able to unlock the
Platinum Trophy within 5-6 hours.
Where can I get this game?
RiME can be bought digitally in the EU / NA PSN store or you can pick up a
copy at your local retailer.
If you need PSN cards, you can buy them here.
There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within
minutes.
As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
Yes, especially if you’ve can get it for free from the PS+ program.
