Hey there!
A nice little Shmup. The PS4 version can easily be completed within 1 hour
but the Vita version is a lot harder!
What is the game all about?
InkSplosion is a shoot ‘em up in which you’re in control of
a skull. You read right – a skull! The game has no story at all. At the
beginning, all you can do is playing the arcade mode. Basically, this mode is
endless. Every round you start in a randomized weapon with one of the 5
available weapons. The weapons also change every round and there is no way to
predict which weapon you get next. Just hope that you don’t get the rocket gun –
it just SUCKS!!! In every round, you must beat the 4 enemies while avoiding the
“laser” walls.
If you manage to reach 100,000 points in arcade mode, you will unlock arena
mode and hard mode. Getting 100k points can be quite annoying. Make sure to not
get hit by the enemies, as this set back your multiplier to zero.
Arena mode is nearly the same as arcade mode. The major difference is,
there are no “laser walls”.
Hade mode is exactly the same as arena mode – just harder.
On PS4, the game isn’t that difficult and actually quite fun. On Vita, the
game lags and the screen is way too small to see anything. You get constantly
hit by the enemies and slowing down the time doesn’t help either. It’s way
harder compared to the PS4 version.
What about trophies?
First of all, you must manage to beat level 10 arcade mode and manage to
get 100,000 points in arcade mode. Doing this will get you most of the trophies
and unlock arena mode and hard mode. Now, switch to arena mode and make sure to
kill 100 enemies in one run. The last missing trophy must be unlocked in hard
mode. All you need to do is to kill one single enemy and the Platinum Trophy
will be yours.
Where can I get this game?
InkSplosion is available in the EU, NA and HK PSN store. It’s
crossbuy (PS4 & Vita) and each version has its own stack. This means 3
stacks for PS4 and 3 stacks for Vita.
If you need PSN cards, you can buy them at play-asia.com
or at scdkey.com.
There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within
minutes.
As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
You should definitively get all PS4 versions. With a few skills and a
little bit of luck, you should be able to unlock the Platinum Trophy within 1
hour. And if you’re up for a challenge, play the Vita version as well. It will
be harder but should be doable within 2-3 hours.

I remember getting the platinum for this and Super Destronaut really quickly and around the same time, the Vita version was quite tough to begin with! Well done on all the platinums! :)
