Platinum #272: Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations (PS3)

Hey there!

I’m so happy that I never must play this game again. This game is just… unacceptable! Mmmmnnn!

What is the game all about?
Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations is a Point & Click based on the television series on Cartoon Network. You take control of Finn and his dog, Jake, and must solve 5 completely different cases.
Your investigations always start at your treehouse and will bring you to different areas in the Land of Ooo. There, you will meet a lot of familiar characters like, Princess Bubblegum, the Ice King and Marceline.
The game might be fun if you’re a fan on the TV series but for someone who has never watched one single episode, the game is just crap. The humor lousy and the characters are just a joke. Especially this annoying Lemongrab dude. His voice is so annoying, I had to mute my TV every time I had to talk with him.

What about trophies?
There are a lot of story-related trophies and a few collectibles. As there is no chapter select, you should get all collectibles in one go. Otherwise, you’d have to start all over again. Therefore, you might want to follow this walkthrough from playstationtrophies.org. With this walkthrough, you should beat the game in about 6 hours.

Where can I get this game?
Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations was only available in the PSN store, but it has been removed on 2018/31/03. There is no physical version of the game available. Neither for PS3 nor for PS4.

As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
If you have bought this game before 2018/31/03 for PS3 and / or PS4, you also might want to push yourself through this game. It’s annoying but short. If you haven't bought this game, you’re unable to get it anymore, but you won’t miss anything.
