Platinum #283: Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride

Hey there!

Finally, my Artifex Mundi run has come to an end. I think I will never ever again play 5 of their games in a row.

What is the game all about?
Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride is a Point & Click by Artifex Mundi, released for PS4 in 2017.
This game takes place in a lonely village called Ravenwood. I haven’t really focused on the story in this game. I have watched a few cutscense at the beginning but they have been pretty lame. It’s also quite lengthy and compared to their other games.
The game itself isn’t different to other Artifex Mundi games. As usual, you have some areas to explore in which you must complete a few mini-games as well as some Hidden Object Puzzles (HOPs) to proceed with the story. Alternatively, you can also switch to Domino, if you don’t want to play HOPs. In my point of view, Domino is easier than HOP.
Like in every other game by Artifex Mundi, you can choose between 2 difficulties. After beating the main story once, you unlock a short side story. This side story gives you some additional background information.

What about trophies?
To unlock the Platinum Trophy, you must beat the game on each difficulty, beat all HOPs, every Domino game as well as all mini-games without using hints. For this, you need two full playthroughs. On one, you need to beat the main story playing HOPs only and on the other one, you must play Domino only. There is one major difference to other Artifex Mundi games. You also must beat the side story twice, as its HOPs and Domino games are needed for two trophies.
If you want to get this game done as quick as possible, I recommend using this walkthrough from bigfishgames.com.

Where can I get this game?
Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride is available digital only and can be found in the EU and NA store. There’s only one stack for this game.
If you need PSN cards, you can buy them at play-asia.com or at scdkey.com. There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within minutes.

As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
If you’re up for an easy Platinum Trophy, yes. If you’re looking for an enjoyable story, go buy Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart or Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek.
