Platinum #201: Black The Fall (NA Version)

Hey there!

I was waiting for a long time to see this game on sale. Finally, it happened and I immediately took the chance to buy and play this game.

What is the game all about?
Black The Fall is a typical platformer. You run from left to right, must avoid traps and solve puzzles. Your ultimate goal is to escape the Communist regime and grant an old machinist, the character you’re in control of freedom. The puzzles in this game aren’t really difficult. There’s only one passage where the screen gets totally black and you must avoid some deadly steam. This is the most frustrating part, as you must listen very carefully to avoid afore mentioned steam. The graphics of this game are nice and the controls are good. The soundtrack fits perfectly.

What about trophies?
There are only 4 story-related trophies, all other trophies are missable. Luckily, you can get all trophies in one playthrough, if you follow a guide. In case you should have missed one, there’s chapter select. This means that you wouldn’t need much time for the clean-up stage. The most annoying trophies is directly at the beginning. You need to hop-on a bicycle and you must keep pressing SQUARE for about 15 minutes.
If you want to get the game done quickly, you can follow the video guide by IBadDriverI below. If you want to puzzle through the game on your own but don’t want to miss any trophy, you can use my (mostly) spoiler-free guide on psnprofiles.com or here.

Where can I get this game?
This version can be bought in the NA store for 14.99$. There’s also an EU version available, which can be bought in the EU store for 14.99€. This means, you can unlock 2 easy Platinum Trophies by playing this game twice. There is currently no physical version of this game available.
If you don’t know how to set-up an account for a different country, check out this video by my buddy IBadDriverI.
If you need PSN cards, you can buy them here. There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within minutes.

As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
I’m not a huge fan of platformer, so I haven’t enjoyed Black The Fall at all. Never the less, both version are pretty easy and can be completed in 2 hours each. Due to this I must say that’s its definitively worth buying from a trophy hunter point of view. If you’re a fan of platformers, you should anyway give it a try.

Yours,
AvengedEvil
